The Jeep looks awesome...and it's time for me to trade in my car, so just wondering if anyone has a JK and if they have seen anyone issues with the automatic transmissions? My wife prefers an auto, but will drive a stick if it will be more reliable in the long run...

All I've ever owned in Jeeps has been auto's in my Cherokees and Grand Cherokees with the I6. This V6 in the JK is a proven engine, so not too worried about that, but knowing the issues Chrysler has had in the past with some of the truck transmissions, just wondering....

Any other good/bad experiences with JK's is helpful too. Might be selling my '93 XJ as well because I have 4 vehicles in my driveway and something has to go...we both commute a lot and have to take out customers and such on occassion, so the old XJ isn't a practical work car...just a toy that's taking up space right now.
