I have a 4.0l out of a 1993 cherokee for sale. Cherokee had 162xxx miles on it, and had a lean on the title for an engine replacement. So, there are unknown miles on the motor, but I doubt it's over 50k with how clean it was.

It's been completely resealed, and has a brand spanking new harmonic balancer.

I rebuilt the head and lapped the valve while I was in the motor. Did not need to replace the rings...the cross-hatching was factory quality, with no scoring.

This is a longblock. no mounts, no manifolds, no accessories. I'm to toss the brackets, mounts, and accessories in if you need them.

for an extra $100 I will give you the complete wiring harness, and stock manifolds for it, with all of the sensors. Currently it has a 2001 intake and aftermarket header on it...I need those for a stroker build.

Reseal included:
valve cover
timing cover
front main
rear main
oil pan
head
new freeze plugs (all of them)f

I have the rest of the gaskets left over as well. you can have them with the motor.

before resealing, the engine had a 30psi idle, 45 psi @2200rpm oil pressure. I saw no reason to replace the pump.

All main and rod bearings were fine, and have been torqued to spec.

I reused the head bolts...they are good for two uses, this was the second use.

Pictures were before I finally installed the oil pan.

used royal purple 10w30 as lubricant during the process for reassembly.
