Nice. Little rust, but who cares on a commuter.

Looks like you did okay, GMS. I just noticed you're from Uniontown. My mom was from Mount Pleasant, and her best friend was from Uniontown. We lived up in Kecksburg in the mid-sixties when my dad was in Korea, and moved to Chicago six months before the UFO crashed in the woods above town. When I was pulling a flatbed I used to pickup loads at Nelson Steel in New Salem pretty regularly. So I have to ask - is it wash or worsh? Mom or mum?

That wire mesh at Nelson looks pretty harmless, but it's about the slipperiest thing you can load on your wagon. First load I hauled out of there shifted before I even got it five miles down the road.

Part of my job is to photograph accidents that are fatal, or do extensive damage to state property.

This past october, a trailer dumped his whole load just after the sharp curve, had the road blocked for hours. Load shifted and that was it. wire mesh everywhere.

That's one of those loads that, if you secure it as per DOT regulations, you're gonna have problems. After that first load I figured out that all the securement had to go on the end of the 15' bundles, strapped from both sides, and tightened down three times on each strap. Just took a little experience to figure that out. You know the old story - how do you make good decisions? Good judgement. How do you get good judgement? Experience. How do you get experience? Bad decisions.

No problem. Enjoyed seeing you and the family!

I gave her a fill up today. 381 miles on 9.8 gallon. almost 39 MPG.

Must be nice!! I still want a small truck, but no chance of anything that great as far as gas mileage.
