Trust me, it's no fun using a back up camera to see your shoes to tie them.

I am 189 lbs right now (6'1"). I used to be 155 in college but then I hit the weights and got myself in the 180's and been there for 9 years. I have a really high metabolism so I can't gain weight no matter how much crap i eat. It took me 6000 calories/7 meals a day to go from 155-180. I know I'm not gaining weight but i'm sure i'm gaining in cholesterol.
I can see my shoes clearly...and even say HI to my "boy" every now and then.
But i'm taking your story as a warning and gonna cut back on the nasty stuff. Sooner or later my metabolism will slow to a crawl and i'll be outgrowing my pants....

Just do the 3-bowl deal and be done with it. I can't eat any less than 2 bowls or else i'd be hungry for more. It's like lifting your jeep. Why go small and add some more, and then finally go longarm when you can go long arm right from the start and avoid all the extra work.

I can't stop eating it! I ate an entire box of them in 4 days!
Are there any counseling classes for this type of addiction?

My father was on the parole board and would constantly bring home theses massive industrial sized packages of it from the prison commissary. I still eat them. I just recently discovered they make a chow mein bowl that despite the fact it's made by ramen is excellent.

That's what happened to me.
In High School I never got over 133 (at 5'7"), bulked a bit on the farms of southeast CO to 155 at 5' 9". Stayed skinny until I married the first wife then I went to 220 in just a couple months because she couldn't cook her way out of a wet paper bag in shredder. Almost every meal except what her mom fixed came from fast food.
In Basic, I dropped to 145 in 6 weeks and she didn't recognize me when I came home on pass.
After the divorce, I worked two jobs (until the courts decided I didn't need to pay support because she wouldn't let me see our son and the support costs alone cut down on my caloric intake.
So, when I met my present wife, I was 165, the weight I was at in the pic on the significant others thread.
Trust me, my friend, when that metabolism drops, you won't notice untill your pants don't fit and your crosstrainers disappear.
Just took another look at that pic ... hard to believe at that time I could lift 240 pounds to a bandsaw table from the floor . . . .
