laredo?

Hi, My husband has his heart set on buying a 2005 Cherokee Laredo(today) Consumer reviews have not been flattering- does anyone out there own one of these and if so, how do you like it? Thanks!!

Where are you located? Cuz they haven't made Cherokees in the States since 2001...

I think she's referring to the Grand Cherokee, trim level Laredo. The Libertys, AFAIK in other countries are "Cherokees" but aren't offered in a "Laredo" trim.

My girlfriends parents had an '05 Grand Cherokee, it was the Limited though. They had no problems withit, and it was very dependable. The craftsmanship of the interior was ok, and the seats weren't quite as comfortable as the previous generation's seats. I have heard that the 3.7L V6 is a dog in the Grand Cherokees, and that the 4.7L is the better option. The 5.7L was not available in Laredos.
