now ive done it
..... hydrolocked ... pics or video should come later i didnt have my camera this time ....
but maybe not hydrolockd ... i know im running on 4 cylinders .... and fried my clutch
**cking pissed ....
maybe this is time for a stroker or my small block 400 swap?

SNORKEL....should have never started it after you thought you locked it, pull the plugs right then and there

it was running fine after the water went up a hill and it bogged down then LOUD METAL POP.... now it runs like chit
edit ...
I D K what the metal pop was but it seems it was just every sensor on the intake frying at the same time .... :shrug:

That wasn't the deepest  I would definitely invest in a snorkel, and I would most certainly check my diff fluids, especially if you went even deeper than the vid.
EDIT: Add a kicker motor to the list too

His SUBMARINE already has a snorkel...well...semi-snorkel.
Cad, I noticed you like to put some power into your water crossings. Try to slow it down a little and keep the wave flowing at grille level. I know it's fun to go fast but it's not worth the consequences. When you gun it through a water crossing, you are tossing up a shi$load of water into the engine bay from underneath. This goes all over the place and into places where water isn't welcomed. If you didn't already, try investing into a front skid plate. People say it doesn't do much for a lifted rig (it still does, ask me how i know) BUT it does keep the water from splashing up onto the fan and all over the place. I went through a bunch of water crossings with my front skid and the motor is still Mr. Clean CLEAN!
