Purple Cranium Products Awesome site
Just wanted to throw this out there for others because as far as I know not many people have heard of them and they are friendly and easy to deal with and the prices are good. They sell awesome spider looking rock guards that are pretty dang tough and awesome differential covers. I love promoting local Michigan companies that are worth while Hope everyone likes this site. Check the link out below.

If those are .125, how thick are the stock covers?

I think that one is for looks. .125 is only 1/8 inch. That is about what the stock one is.

They said .125 is thicker than what comes stock on the jeeps. I asked the same questions and that is what they told me. They said they are stronger and hold up to a lot more abuse than stock.

diff. cover thicknesses
I will let everyone on here know for sure if they are thicker than the stock ones. I am swapping them out next week and will compare them and tell you about the quality too. I have bought other stuff from them before and they have never let me down and have exceeded my expectations too.

I just measured the stock dana 30 cover that 2000XJ sent me to use as a diff skid. It's 4mm thick, which is .157".
So the ones they are advertising are actually thinner?

I wouldn't trust an 1/8inch cover to protect my diff. The skid ones are 3/16 and I've even seen these mashed back into the factory cover.

my Riddler is a hell of a lot thicker than that... the chrome ones PCP are selling are for looks. I'm pretty sure if you had one-ton steering and cranked the wheel to full lock you'd have a nice crease in your shiny cover.

Hmm, maybe I will rethink the application or just install for the car show then and take it off afterwards lol. I will ask them on Monday before they send it too.

Or buy two and mount one on top of the other and you got a thick cover.
Let us know what they say.
