ok i dont mean to sound like some A hole kid here but at what point is it wrong to drive ... if you cant turn your head you cant check blindspots .... i wrecked my dakota cause some fat guy merged without looking and checked me into a concrete median at 65 .... messed up back ever since ...
like i said i dont mean to sound mean but do you always look even when it hurts?

Don't worry I force myself to turn my head when needed. It's painfull but I do it and I take extra precautions. I almost got it yesterday from some girl that came flying off a exit ramp talking on her phone I couldn't get over because of traffic and she missed me by inches. The car behind me had to slam on it's brakes so he wouldn't hit her. People fly down these exit ramps and think they have the right of way.

When I tell someone at work, roofing, to do something and they reply," Man, I'm wearing my good cloths." If I would have said something like that when I first started working I would have been fired.

I worked maintenance for a number of years. My answer to that was, "Bummer. Do it anyway. And don't wear your good clothes to-morrow - they'll just get messy."
Pull something like that on me, and I'll give you the messiest jobs I can think of for a week - and I save those up where I can.
The Director I answered to wanted me to lead from a desk and wear a suit, but he changed his mind when I told him the company would have to buy the suits and pay drycleaning. I'll need at least seven suits and at least two pairs of dress shoes with aggressive sole traction and safety toe caps. Figure you're going to be spending something like $7000-8000 in initial outlay, and you're going to get killed on drycleaning.
Oh - and I'm not going to wear a tie. Deal.
(I lasted as long as I did in that job through an effective combination of brute competence, knowing more about the buildings than the building engineers, and knowing where all of the bodies were buried. And, I got to spend social time with the founders...)

How about incompetent drivers in the first place? Don't look where they're going, don't signal their intentions, DWY (Driving While Yapping,) DWT (Driving While Texting,) DWR (Driving While Reading,) and Gawd only knows what else - putting on makeup or shaving also come readily to mind...

when im driving to or from work, and some asshole decides to go 15 in the 45 single-lane, then suddenly speed up to 65 where it goes to two lanes, and only as you start to pass them. also, people who drive with their lights off in ****ty weather. it doesnt matter if you can see, its so others can see you. and stop riding up on my ass then whipping around me. this goes out to ricers mainly.

I absolutely hate when you're running perfectly on time for work until you get about a mile away and get stuck behind that guy doing 25 in a 40.... and he doesn't turn off until the parking lot right before the one that you have to park in!
