here in california we can still tint our front two side windows but it has to be 90% VLT. Seriously? what's the point. And if I remember right, the back windows can be no less than 20% VLT. I like having my windows tinted, especially with the heat we have here.
Oh btw, even though that's what the law says, the cops here are too damn lazy to pull people over for having their windows tinted too much.

i got 20% all the way around, except my driver side window cuz i messed the angle up an got lazy, its about the perfect shade in my opinion

im from pa, i dont think so here, my friends have 5 on most of there cars an trucks, my white car had 5 all around, got pulled over many times but never for the tint

i guess some places are more strict about it than others, i think FL is pretty bad

i had a white civic, all tinted, swapped b18 an such, met the rear end of a yota. id rather have a jeep anyway

When my son got his discharge from the Navy, he drove a 95 Chrysler Lebaron home as a gift for me from Jacksonville NAS.
To get it past UT inspection, we had to remove all the tint from all the side windows, which I had no problem with ... I couldn't see out to drive it safely at night.
He said FL never said a word about the tint, but he thought it was too dark also.

my XJ has no tint on any of the windows, i like it that way for wheeling. People complain about cherokees and vision problems on the trail, i have no such problems with no tints 
I like when stuff from Quadratec actually comes on time.

it might have been his town, the cape coral/ft. myers area, i guess him and his buddies got busted all the time, but he also got busted for his angel eyes with some bull **** excuse like impersonating a cop or something so his experiences might not be the best to go off of

IIRC, he said the car was purchased new in the Miami area then the owner moved to the Jacksonville area. The original owner put the tint on in Miami.
He was the second owner and I was the third.

He also said that FL has some very lax driving laws, so a lot goes on that wouldn't in other states.
