Everything exploded in the little 35, I don't even think the housing can be saved. Time to regear and put the 8.8 in. I should have done it already, just too busy wheeling.

Well if you lost you D turdy-five then it wasn't an earth shattering loss. Sry your weekend was screwed up though. That looks like a nasty mudhole.

That really does suck, but like someone else already pointed out at least you get to get rid of that D35.
I'll have to tell you I was relieved to find out it wasn't a Chrysler 8.25.

IIRC It was on its way out anyways. Do you have anymore pictures of the d35 carnage?

He might just have at's but he's locked front and rear, and that is one stud TJ. I got to there too but i had to back into the hole because my front bumper isn't done, so they had to pull me out backwards. Time to tear down for winter and do lots of work. Gotta regear and put the 8.8 in, both front axle joints and one seal. finish my front bumper and tire carrier on rear. Rock rails, roof rack, and tube doors before spring. Or I can get a 8.25 from a local guy and be ready for the mud bogs this weekend in OH. I'm torn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, I'll get some when I tear into it though. I'm just glad I had my quarters folded and my rear bumper to protect the back.

Great pics! Looks like a fun trail.
Look at the bright side ... move on to an 8.8 and problem solved.
I've eaten 2 D35s this year and am putting the 8.8 in the next month or 6 weeks. I can pick up a 35 around here for 50 bucks, but sick of changing them and dickin' around with the brakes every time. Pain in the butt!
Good luck man.

thats awesome man, but seeing blown up D35s is almost as common as seeing the seaguls take craps all over the parking lot at work when they fly off..and thats like everyday..
