New grill
Got tired of looking at the chrome grill so I updated it to black. Heres the before and after.

Looks damn good, dude! Did you just paint the chrome one or did you source actual black replacements?
PS what's that on the hood? Vents?

Bought black replacements for it. The little circles are Colorado mud rain, the thing on the passenger side is a vent I might paint it black. Whats your thought.

Yeah those definitely need to go as well. They are power so I need to find power replacements. I think I read somewhere that WJ mirrors will work.

Yes, the Grand mirrors bolt right up and they fold. I'm planning on doing this mod if i ever make it to the j/y.
Couldn't find the link on the Grand mirrors, so i'll post up this one instead...

Black might look cool for those vents...
As to the mirrors, I know 97+ mirrors bolt directly in as well, and they're a bit smoother and larger. The only thing you might need to figure out would be how to adjust them, since ALL 97+ mirrors came powered. After going doorless, I found that they were actually reasonably easy to adjust by hand wihtout needing to worry about rewiring the servos.

Looks great! I've been wanting to do this for a while and this inspires me to actually make myself do it haha.
And that's cool about the grand mirrors, I didn't know that! I was gonna buy new ones off ebay for $40+ each! Now to the junk yard.

mcatald, I second painting the vent black - would flow better. Not a fan of body-matched vents on vehicles, dunno why exactly...
