Default dash lights

I replaced dash lights with new ones today and now only the turn signals work no other dash lights.
I have a 92 sport.
Do the light go in a certain direction or just plug in?

I am pretty sure the are good either way.

I would check the main connector that supplies power to the dash. If you replaced them with new bulbs and NONE of the "night lights" work, I would guess connector. or fuse.

Find the main harness to the dash panel and make sure there is no corrosion nor pins bent or anything.....also.....this may be simple but did you use used bulbs or new ones?

May sound trivial, but I had the same thing happen and found I just needed to give the light switch a twist.

Just had a similar issue. After much trial and error, it ended up being my headlight switch. Its cheap, and Autozone had it in stock (which tells me it fails often).

You might wanna check if you have running lights as well. If the headlight switch fails it could be in a number of ways. For me, it was internal lights (dash lights + overhead lights when activated by switch), which later cascaded into my taillight fuse.

There is a 15A fuse for taillights, which runs to the headlight switch, and sends back to fusebox to a 5A fuse for dash/internal lights.

The 15a fuse was blown because of a short in the A/C heater control light.

Yes they do light up in fact that is what started my whole problem I was replacing the heater a/c light when I lost the other lights.
It is nice to have all the lights back.
