WHY!? Its so annoying. Is there a breather or something that I should change or clean? The gas doesnt go down fast enough and its obvious that air isnt flowing correctly. Any ideas?

BTW its a 98 XJ

Check for kinks in the filler hose to the tank. If there is a blockage, that might be the reason.

I just hold the nozzle out a little bit and set it on the slowest flowing step. Then I clean all the windows. By the time I'm done with the windows my patience is empty but my tank is full. Or..... you could just drive over to Jersey to fill up and let somebody else feel the frustration.

Ha love it. I still don't get why they can't fill up their own tanks but hey they pay for it in taxes.

listen for it, you will hear a change when it starts coming up the tube. then let off the pump.
