Default quick ? about the steering stabilizer

hey guys i got a quick ?, are u supposed to be able to easily move the steering stabilizer by hand after u disconnect it?

the piston movement should be like a shock. b/c thats what it is

It should take some force to cycle the steering stabilizer both ways. They are valved 50/50. If it just cycles with little or no effort then it's probably done. If it's leaking oil then it needs replaced too.

yea no oil leaking but i can move it with little effort. so im getting a new one soon

I replaced mine with a Moog and can tell a great difference from the stock one. It's more expensive but if you want to hit the trails it is worth it.
