Seafoam and no smoke
Alright guys and gals, what gives? I just used seafoam for the first time ever. Half bottle slowly into TB while running, 1/4 in crankcase, 1/4 in gas tank. Let it sit for 10 mins. Started it back up with no problems whatsoever and there is absolutely no smoke coming from the exhaust. Did I do something wrong or is my engine just that clean?

that means your motor is clean of carbon buildup. I had no smoke come out of the TJ but the xj had a little bit, not alot though.
seafoam doesn't guarantee a smoke show.

Well I just did it again and was a little more aggressive with pouring it in. I made it stall out about 5 times in the process and got some smoke this time, not much, but a little. I poured some more in the crankcase and the gas tank as well. I'm gonna drain the oil as soon as it cools off. I will say that I noticed an immediate difference in throttle response, it actually surprised me so much that i took my foot off of the gas pedal, lol!

Stall out as in shut off? That's what you are supposed to avoid. It's almost like hydro locking the motor if you pour it in too fast or too aggressively.
It's good that it's running better though.

Alright, oil change done, nothing out of the ordinary as far as oil consistency. It looks just like every other oil change I've done. Engine seems to be running slightly smoother though.

I may have neglected to back the XJ out of the garage far enough last time I Seafoam'd... Garage went from crystal-clear to 'cloud' status reaaaaaaallll quick, heh.
