Default Cherokee seats

New Jeep owner - I just bought a 2009 Cherokee - Love the Jeep - I really enjoy driving it.
We also have another 2009 Cherokee and a 2005 Wrangler.
I'm new to the Jeep world - but I only have Mopars - nothing else alowed on the patch.
The other Cherokee is my son's and the Wrangler is my daughter's. Alot of fun in the snow - runs and drives real nice.
Only complaint is the seats - drivers seat has hard side bolsters - kind of uncomfortable - I'm hoping for some suggestions ?
I'm glad to be part of CHEROKEETALK -
Thanks in advance.

Wow, this is kind of out of our field of expertise. We all have XJs and ZJs made before 02. But welcome to the forum anyway. The best advise I can give here is take it to an Auto upholsterer and have him put in some less dense foam. That should do the trick. If you were in CA I could recommend someone really good at stuff like that and it would look better than factory when done.

Thanks for the advice - I know of a good Auto upholsterer here in PA.
Maybe they can help me out.

I realize that this may have been put in the wrong place - But I was desperite to get some ideas.

Thanks again,

TOG

I did test drive it - but the drive was short - The seats didn't start to bother me until I was driving it about a month.

Thanks for the reply,

They do that in a lot of seats for stability while cornering. However, your body has to fit them or they are uncomfortable.

I could see if this was a Wrangler, like my daughter's '05, but it's a Cherokee and the Wrangler corners much better.
Anyway - Thanks for the info...
Hey - It's still a JEEP !!!
