Default '90 cherokee wont start.

So i got my new jeep body ( rolled the old one )
1990 jeep cherokee lmtd 4x4 I6

I towed it home and dropped my battery in and it turns over great! but it wont start.. It had been sitting for two years so i swapped my fuel filter over from my '92 cherokee sport. and my plugs wires cap n rotor. threw a gallon of new gas in and it still wont start.
any ideas??

i tried disconnecting the fuel line from the fuel rail and blowing into it and couldnt.. think possible backup of somesort?

maybe i put my wires on wrong too i kno the firing order is right 153624 but im not sure possitive i have em hooked to the right plugs on the cap.

anything else you guys think i should check?
the fact that it wont start is worrying me makin me think there will be all sorts of more issues when it does start.

Default basics

Check to make sure you are getting spark
Check to make sure you are getting the right fuel pressure
Make sure there is no water in the gas from sitting and getting condensation buildup
Like you said, make sure you wires are on right
Check your sensor
Check your injectors for proper functioning

well ill let ya kno now im pretty new to all these repairs.
i know u can test for spark by stickin a screwdriver in turnin it over and see if u get shocked but theres gotta be a better way to check for spark.

and then checking fuel pressure and checking for water are two thinngs that i have nooo clue how to go about doing.. if you cud help me out thats be great
same with checking the sensors and the injectors... no ideaaa how to work on em.

but ima diy kinda guy so with a little guidence from you guys im sure i can figure it all out.

You can take a wire off of any of the plugs and put it about 1/4" from a ground, like the block and have someone crank the engine and see if there's spark. You can do the same for coil wire just remove from distributor cap and ground. On the driver side of the engine next to the valve cover is a fuel rail. Near the front of rail is a test port, similar to a valve stem on a tire. If you got a fuel pressure tester you could hook it up and crank for a minute or two and read it or just push in the valve stem in the port. If it sprays fuel your good. But watch your eyes and face, cause it can spray fuel real good. Good idea for safety goggles. I can't caution you enough on testing this way.
