Changed the Diff fluids, the rear was good but the front was nasty. Changed the oil and filter. Replaced drivers motor mount and diagnosed the bearing in my alternator are bad.
To top it all off I bought a Land Rover.

what weigh oil /fluid does the rear ends in these XJ's use ? I think I need to add some fluid to the rear.
drove to the station, cleaned out the back, restocked ems supplies ,drove the jeep down to help the Juniors with there bake sale (because a ambulance with the lights on and kids selling brownies and cupcakes isnt enough so we had a ambulance and a jeep with lights going with kids selling cup cakes and brownies ) need to add rear end fluid and wax it oh..... AND PUT GAS IN IT!

The rear diff fluid depends on application and location. I would think for you a 80w140 sounds good.

I've read that the currie correctlynk is awesome for lifted vehicles, you might want to check them out! very heavy duty and angled ends! (too bad I had just bought Moog when I found out about them!)

Bought a cherry bomb muffler, a gently used alternator to replace my squealing one, and started the fun process of seam sealing my floor.
