I ended up having to put them back on because I'm having to drive it daily to work. Its crazy this is the most I've ever driven it and pretty much every day I'm finding a new problem that needs to be fixed. But I still love driving it. To bad all the rain washed off all the mud. It almost looks clean now.

I wish we would get some rain only had about a quarter inch in over a month and that might be pushing it

I have been working on it more than driving. So far I have changed every sensor and the entire ignition system. I just bought a different ECU to try. I hope the very hard start and miss goes away. I am starting to think about saying goodbye to the xj.

Before you totally give up, there is an issue with the Cherokee's timing on the distributer. It needs to be turned 1 or 2 degrees and it will fix your misfire. I will try to find some literature on the issue for you!

Haven't been browsing the forums for a while. Decided to clean up the Jeep and started with the engine bay. Apparently I was in a cleaning mood because I detailed the hell out of my rig.

Went from this:

To this:

Kind of hard to tell the difference with the sun out.

She's looking mighty fine.

We got around 3" yesterday from a really bad storm that blew threw. It got ugly for a bit.

I painted it with truck bed liner.

So I found this rack on CL and traded something taking up space in my garage for it. I am going to bolt it to the factory cross rails which will allow the rubber feet to sit flat on my roof. I am either going to mount some lights on the front of the rack or will make a aero dynamic foil out of aluminum for the front. It's too darn hot and humid to do much of anything right now. I do know that I want to put on some side braces so I can mount my Hi-Lift jack and my little trail shovel on the sides.
