Got rid of the 71 a few years ago. I didn't have a place to store it any more. The guy I sold it to still has it. He was excited by the Buick GS350 under the hood. The Wag was a real hotrod.

Seems I can only load 1 picture at a time tonight. The stub line was to stop brake fluid from leaking while I made the new steel line for the rear axle.

Checking in, for those not following my Smittybilt Bumper thread I have the bumper installed. Took about 5 hours total time or a couple of weeks due to work and family commitments. Went smoothly without any real problems. Everything is well built and fitted with minimal fine tuning. Did the install totally alone. The only complaint I have is the instructions are not very specific and leave a lot out of steps. I want to say I LOVE this bumper!

Time to update again. Since the bumper and winch install it's just been little things that have gotten worked on. Spent a couple of afternoons trouble shooting and repairing my "free" winch. Can't complain too much as all it cost me was one solenoid and and a few hours work.
Next I finished up building and installing my 2/0 battery cables. My Jeep now spins over quicker and my 2 volt meters now agree as to what the voltage is in the battery. The factory gauge always read low which is why I installed an aftermarket gauge. Next came finishing my H4 headlight install. They really put out a lot more light than the poor stock lights did. Finally I did a heater valve delete. I have converted to an pseudo-open cooling system with a Dakota filler neck some time ago but had not eliminated the Renix pressure bottle. Well it is gone as is the heater valve. If when I get my A/C working again I find too much heat I'll put manual shut off valves in the heater hoses like we did on the ambulance conversions. My overflow tank is from a 260Z and over by my air filter. I plan on moving it later. I also plan on moving my master fuse from the alternator to the room created by removing the heater valve. Not much else accomplished as family commitments (had to rebuild the porch steps at my moms house) have kept me tied up without much Jeep time. As most of the mechanical issues are now dealt with it is time to move into the interior and get it finished and cleaned. I have numerous interior projects to finish but if I can get a few hours I can get most of them done quickly.
