Don't remember as I got them over a year ago off eBay but they weren't the bargain basement housings. They have glass lens and have a decent distribution pattern. Although I've found the bulb makes a big difference in the pattern as some cheap bulb filaments aren't oriented properly. I did have to open up the back portion of the mount so that I could get it to seat flush. The rubber seal over the H4 bulb was to large in diameter to fit but I have an '89 so there may have been changes in later models as I haven't heard about H4's being anything other that plug and play before I installed mine.

Last few days been finishing up several projects. Finished wiring under the dash and wired aux fan over ride switch, new BMR as before HVAC went out all together only had high so it will eliminate one thing during trouble shooting of HVAC. Got vacuum reservoir installed under the front bumper on my Smittybilt bumper. I had to drill 2 holes to mount it. Finally got around to torqueing my lower control arms. Oh yes I cleaned the windows.

Picking away at the list. I have most of the must do to drive done now. I now am moving to the want to do and should do lists. As it stands if I needed to drive the Jeep it is drive-able. Still need to clean it up and finish the interior also so exterior body work and pain needs to be done. I still want to rebuild the front end but do not as on now have any death wobble or other ominous signs from the front end. HVAC still needs to be fixed as well but I've narrowed it down to just a couple if possible issues. I also still want to clean up some of the under hood wiring. I guess it never ends it is a Jeep after all and what project vehicle is ever truly finished?

Yes It's been a long time coming. I plan on taking it to the National Forrest near Alexandra to run some of the trail there and do a 1-2 night camping trip. My daughter is talking about going with me in her Frontier and bring my 6 year old grandson. My family owns and I live on our farm, we have almost 3500 acres, so I have plenty of gravel roads and trails there to test on. I am getting anxious to get it on the road and licensed to actually drive it. I have some friends in Texas that are talking about a trip to the Padre Island National Seashore after the first of the year for a few days of wheeling on the beach, camping and fishing. I am planning to go if I can but want to have the Jeep straight as it is 4 hours from Houston to the beach and then the beach is about 60 miles in one direction so reliability is a major concern.

I understand. They don't allow any one one the beaches here where I'm at. Not a lot of places in our area to wheel. Closest place for me is the Outer Banks in North Carolina. It's about an hour trip for me. It's a great outing, I usually try to go a couple times a year.

Texas is interesting as you can drive on most beaches and they consider them public highways so you have to follow all driving laws. I've been to the Outer Banks when I lived in the Carolina's and my mother is from Richmond and most of the family is still in Virginia.

When I lived in NC the first 60 years of my life I was abt 45 minutes from Uwharrie National Forrest. Never wheeled there much, but we use to hunt there. If you're ever up this way we need to hookup. Have a great weekend, it's leaf racking time here.

Sounds good. It's mowing and planting time here. Just finished putting in the winter crops and getting all the groomed areas cut for the winter. Also deer season has started.

Got her up and driving. Fighting with the transmission, works fine with the fuse pulled but won't shift with the TCU active. Here's a couple of pics after being in the woods.
