I haven't mounted them yet. I need to drill holes through the unibody first. These rock rails are taking freakin forever because I am working full time and I only get about an hour every couple days to work on them.

Ouch, that sucks there. At least you get to drive around in something that doesn't drag is belly all the time.

Well I just had an awesome weekend. We went wheeling and camped with a ton of people. All of us basically took over the campsite
We wheeled a stock cherokee and beat the **** out of it. We were literally jumping it and doing baja over the craziest trails. Surprisingly it still runs fine on the streets ![]() But anyways, back to my jeep. I snapped the stock tierod like a twig on the rock garden, so we had to do some improvising. ![]() We put some DOM tubing over the tie rod, tack the tie rod together, and then slide the DOM over it, and then weld both ends. So basically my life, and 3 of my closest friends, was depending on my welding skills. ![]() ![]() I made it back just fine and parked for a couple day. I went to pick-n-pull today and got a replacement from a '95 V8 Grand Cherokee for $20 ![]()

I'm guessing your RE 3.5 is the superflex version right? i'm still in the process of deciding on a lift.

Picked up a dana 44 for $90 today
I posted it up on craigslist for $450 and am trying to see if I can sell it. If I get anything above $300 for it i'll sell it, but if not then it's going in my jeep. It has limited slip too

All I have left is to drill holes through the unibody. I have been spending all my free time building up my buddies wrangler. We just went through his entire audio and got a crazy system going with some crazy stuff. I'll have to take pictures and show you guys when i get a chance.

Just a heads up: if you keep it and throw it in your rig, check on that limited slip - most of them don't last, and most of them end up being broken. Mine was in pieces when I got my 44.

I like the the looks of the herculined panels. How much liner did it take to cover them? great build by the way.
