i had lost all build pics. up to here, as you can see i put new sneekers on it, 33"x12.5 tera-trac mounted on 10" baja rims. since most of the paint was sun-baked, and pealing, i sanded it down 200 grit, primed, and shot the whole rig with 2 gallons of rhyno gaurd, after it dried for 2 day, came out really flat-black, so we went back over it with gallon of gloss black , for painting it in the mid of winter in my garage, didnt turn out that bad. i was very impressed

pretty cool build. I think that is one of the cleanest interiors from a conversion I have ever seen.

Now is was time to get the inspection done on it to see if it was fit for the road, wow it passed with just 1 lower ball-joint had to be changed, maybe the prev. owner did take some care of it on the machanical side, took it for a wheel alignment, cause of the new lift, and new trac bar, and the steering wheel was turned 180. On the trip over to the alignment shop that was 2 blocks away, talk about death wooble, and bum-steer all at the same time, couldnt get it out of 2nd gear cause it wanted to toss ya over the curb 1min. then the next min. right into on-comming traffic , i now get my rig aligned once a year, cause i do a lot of hwy driving . now for the 1 test run and get this rig muddy

seems like a good reason now to buy a new pressure-washer

The rig stayed like it is for most of the 2007 year, finally got to take it offraoding into a secret lake for some good fishing, another passion of mine. The only way in to this lake is by 4x4 or atv, found out the jeep did what i wanted it to do- get me to the better lakes that produce fish. sorry didnt take to many pics of the jeep but we did snap a few pics of the fish.

well now it was time to get ready for winter. I no im nuts- but beats freezin your butt off, shoveling or snowblowing a 200' driveway. it gets the job done pretty quit,

as you can see- the salt they use on the city roads really does a number on your paint, 1 of the main reasons we didnt put a lot of $$ into the paint job

just fits in my garage

on to spring 2008 i found out the A/C condesor in the dash was pooched, so i updated, it to a new unit. i know its over-kill but when you live up north here, and you go offroad, the side window need to be kept shut not just because of mud, but we have these insects call blackfies and mosquitoes, that will eat you alive if the windows are open in the back trails. also needed the most ventilation for when the dogs are in the rig.

hey- i thought it would be 1 of a kind, maybe we think a lot alike, does yours have A/C in it, or is it just heat?

the RR kit is awesome, now after working out some kinks, like removing the rear sway bar, the rear was way to stiff with it in, after 2 years now it has settled and work great, now i haveta get longer e-brake cables.
the 3" rubber spacers are added to the top of the front coils, thats what RR sent me with my new front coils- i think they just set me regular ome coils with the lift, back then i didnt know the difference, but i do now. i will be updating front coils soon with adjustable coil spacers because of the extra weight i added to the front bumper and will help when the plow frame is on.

i added front bump stops when my flares were not chopped, but are now removed, updated pics. of the flares removed and chopped are comming soon

the next mod was to change out the front bucket to leather power seats, and add 5 point seatbelt to keep my little wifee planted in your seat, while going offroad, while keeping the ome seatbeat intacked for normal street driving. this took about 3 days of cutting add fabbing up new bracket for the seats. the drivers side took 2 attempts to get it right, measure 2 times- measure 10 times - still didnt get it right, should of started on the passager side, its a lot easyer to do. the the front buckets i used were from a 1995 crysler concord- the end result was well worth it.

dont make this mistake

next - onto the top rack updating soon
