next i purchaced a new 12" alum boat so a rack was a must, picked 1 up used, it was off a sammi, that looked like a landing strip on top of it, well it fit my boat just fine, so ill make it work




















flares removed- chop the fenders - is up next soon

i had been wanting to do thiis mod for sometime, front tires started rubbing , taking out the front flares, it was time for them to go

the top rack was on and we hit the trails next to the top of the mountain, this trip was to the highest point in ontario, they call it Batchewana 360, old fire tower that is now converted to a radio attenna with the best view of Lake Superior, the trail up to the top just kept closing in on us , as we got to the top, more scratches added

now to make some rock rails or some call sliders. had this project on the go, on and off, man does steel start rusting fast if not treated, no biggy, all going to get sand blasted before final paint

i should of let the paint dry longer on the rails, but as you can see by the dates on the pics, the heep was asking for more trail time, show and tell time guys. by the dates, starting the long weekend in sept, till it snows, we didnt have much of a fall color run






















they told me there was no mud on this trail - ya right

2 weeks later we were back at it again












2 week later the colors were gone and we were driving in this shit

1 last offroad trip before installing the snowplow for winter, 1 of my employees just bought a s10 blazzer and wanted to get it muddy





i told him the object to this, is not to hit the mud hole at 30mph- he didnt listen




for some reason, they didnt want to follow me !

well winter 2008 has set in again, time to put this crazy snowplow back on

Now that spring is near, next up is the to do list- install new custom roll bar inside, and attach the 5 point seatbelts properly, redo the back cover in metal, put more support in the back tailgate area, new custom made rear bumper, and finish off the front bumper fabing up a winch mount. After thats all done, rebolt the rack down, load the boat and head offroad to do some fishing, i have 2 months to complete all this, im thinking- ya right, now Im dreamin, but I will take lots pics while trying to get it done, all while still working 60-70 hrs a week, gotta love been self-employed, must be that jeep thing !

ok i gotta ask why not get a mj??? 2 doors are rare and that one was in good shape as far as im concerned. great work, like the rocksliders but you desecrated a perfect 2 door just to have a mj on crack.
but hey as long as youre having fun it doesnt matter what anyone thinks. at least youre good at it

The main reason for the chop, was to get rid of some side window, cause they always fogged up when plowing driveways, the other reason was because i use to own a 85 notch-back stang and liked that style. Had to sell off the mustang cause of the growing family, I guess its the kid in me, but it sure turns heads now. I only know of 4 mj in my town, 1- the guy won't part with, the other 3 are in so bad of shape with rust, i wouldn't touch them. It is MJ that is so rare here, wish they made more! cheers rob
