280k, but dont we all wish, they would last that long. prev owner must of changed them once, cause the 12point bolts to the hubs were all stripped, I myself only got 2 years out of them after upgading to 33" tires.

well sorry guys been just a tad busy, trying to get a second location opened for my business the last couple months As of june 1st, the build plan has changed again, with all the beating the coupe has taken, over the winter years by the salt they add to the roads, its time for a change. with all the research done now, it time for a change.
after picking up another heep in a good deal, the plan for the coupe next is upgrading to full-size axles, skinny the frame from a 86 chevy 3/4 ton, and a 454- ya baby.
Can it be done, anythings possible with a XJ, is my moto, 1st up is to part out the body of the chevy for some extra $$$$, then to cut out the XJ unibody, wish me luck, cheers rob
get use to seeing this dude around, new co-pilot wont leave my side, named him BUD- short for Budwiesser
BY chance can anyone tell me what size axles these are ?, man I fell like a newb asking- haha, but I haven't been under a Chevy in 20 years, prev. owner could only tell me 4.10 gears, with possi rearend- idk

looking to make this right, so any info or help or surgestions will be much appr. hopefully get it to be a trail rig by next spring or next ?
