^^^^ What brand did you use?

I used the Duplicolor Spray-On bedliner. Went on great, had good color to it for nearly a year, and then it was all down hill. Put about 4 coats on everything.

I am almost positive that it was Duplicolor as well. Mine wasn't spray on. Prepped all the right way and did about 2 or 3 coats. Whatever brand is from Advanced Auto Parts

As for the bent control arm mounts, I highly recommend boxing them in.

Here is a picture of my upper control arm mount boxed in:

Having the CA mounts boxed in makes a HUGE difference in how strong they are. It's also nice having the lowers boxed in b/c they act as skid plates and protect the CA's quite a bit.
i NEED these haha i was gonna do the JKS skids or get the IRO HD ones. i use to not crawl as much but i love rocks now so i need to invest in something. are those all custom mounts you have? they look good!

lucky.. haha but seriously did as much as i could to prep it but it still flaked. and fading plus trying to clean it was just not worth it.

as for updates, scored my buddys old IRO tracbar and going to IRO tomorrow to get the tracbar mount and hardware..gonna put my pucks in and 2.5" AAL and we will see how she sits. gears are next after that when i get my winter bonus. guess gears will suffice til i can get a DD..get some MPGs back. im gonna go with 4.88 G2s.

Your rig makes me want a 2-door 97+ even more than I want one already lol.

For the LCA's, if you have a steel yard near you, pick up some plate and weld it.

i like the intercos better in the snow and offroad. even at half tread the grip anything..i just dont like how the sidewalls are only 2 ply compared to the KM2s 3 ply. plus the KM2s are ALOT more road mannered than the intercos but hey, what do you expect from a mud tire haha

got the back lift in today..man i need to get my tracbar in it leans baaad to the pass side. i snapped all the u-bolts but thank god for anti-sieze. 2 years since the shackle bolts and eye bolts have been touched and a breaker bar took them off with no snapping. i did just end up cutting off the drivers side u-bolts..those things are under some pressure lol.

heres some pics

never buying rough country crap again..two of my leaes were cracked and i didnt even know it.

the new

new

starting on the old

sitting on its own

new hi-lift mounts welded and tire carrier shortened

and for comparison, im 5'11 (had to get a pic of the finished product haha)

it doesnt really ride any worse. now its sitting at 7" front and rear..well..about 7.5" in the back. tracbar is next, then cleaning up the fenders and getting some paint on hopefully..leaving at 12ish friday for gilbert!

just got back from wheeling..got my IRO HD tracbar in before the trip at the last second and didnt get time to allign the wheel so that was fun driving 4 hours with the wheel upside down lol. didnt get stuck or break anything but both my axle u-joints are shot. you can take your hand and move them about 1/2 an inch. ill swap those when i have time. as for excitment my buddy who i drove up with drove into a deep ass puddle and hydrolocked it. hes on 8" of lift and 37s with a 5.2. also had a cherokee almost roll. it rained for 9 hours straight the night before so it made wheeling interesting. onto pics

we got it running after pulling the plugs and cranking it..it started real hard..blew lots of smoke and the tranny now shifts hard..he got it towed home. he was done after that.

guy that almost rolled..was on 2 wheels at one point

all in all it wheeled awesome! still have some rubbing in the back to take care of. but other than that no complaints..lockers would help however hahaha

just found these pics hahaha those were the days

i remember parking next to these and thinking wow they are monster trucks! both were sitting on 35s..i wheeled with the green tj during the crawl 4 the cure and mine sits close to just as high now haha

aaaannnnndddd when i blew up my rear end..the gear pattern on the carrier is when the pinion jumped and hit it..

some pics

old vs. new

all done

love these little blue lights they come with haha wired them to a switch

repainting the sides tomorrow after grinding down the welds. bushwackers should be here thurs or fri and should be able to get them on sunday

and to HID haters, i ordered the hi/low ones so i can easily switch back to the normal headlights. its a soft yellowish white so its not as intense. but when no other cars are around, the HIDs make a HUGE difference. i love them!

A) I love red xjs
B) I love your headlights. Mine output like sh*t, what ones are those (the Dnex picture)?
C) Your lift is pretty sexy, not gonna lie!

Love your rig overall.
