Default Jonzer's XJ

Well been on here long enough that I figured I would post a little bit on my rig.
Not a lot of detail I am just grabbing pics from my build thread on my local jeep site.

Started life as a 2000 XJ, lp30, 231, 8.25.

Got it spring of 2008, June 2009 I installed a 3" rough country kit with new leaf packs and installed some edelbrock shocks.

Stock

3" lift

Ran it this way for a while, added some ZJ steering, KOR trackbar conversion, adjustable upper control arms, iron rock SYE and fabbed up some rock sliders and armor.
Became a huge fan of goodyear duratracs.

Began wheeling it steady, often with XJCoupe and slowly began to realize where I needed to focus upgrades.

Added a CB and some other accessories and then found this rusty baby.

After tons of work it started looking a little better.

8.8 means some new wheels, what a shame.

Installed rough country drop brackets, the 8.8 with an aussie locker and went up to 5" of lift in the front and 5.5 in the rear.

Thanks for the comments, the bud was a gift for helping someone out as I usually drink rum, I don't clean my empties much.

Went snow wheeling with XJCoupe and some other local guys. He has a vid in his build thread.
Was a great day and I can't wait for spring wheeling.

I have had BFG A/T's, Toyo M/T's, Dunlop Mud Rovers, I like the duratracs the best.
I have torn some lugs off them on rocks but they are a snowflake rated soft compound tire so that is to be expected. I haven't felt disappointed offroad yet even in deep mud and they are nice and easy on pavement, not much more to say. If you can get them for a good price they are fantastic value.
Worlds better offroad than a BFG A/T.

did you have to buy different bolt patterns for your front and rear axles?
