Hey Chili Man.... Sick rig, great fab, loads of patience and I REALLY love those boatsides. Long time since we've chatted (what about 2 years ago on CC?) Glad to see things going well for you.
Waiting till the kids are out of school so you have money? HA!!! Both my kids are in college and have LESS money now... Only way I see a payraise is changing jobs (not really wanting to do that either)...
Funny, your project had clutch issues on the trail, slave cylinder died while my project was on its first trail... So my project is sitting waiting on parts and a new front axle and to fab some new long arms...
Keep it up brotherman, I have new inspiration...

Thanks for the props everyone...
No real updates - life has kind of gotten in the way the last month or two... I should start working on the XJ again pretty soon; I've got a 1979 TA I need to get going for my sons and that's top on the list. Once that's running I'll get back to the XJ.

How's it going zjrog; long time no talk too! Welcome to CT. I know what you mean about college. My two oldest (the boys) are looking at the reserves so that'll help.

Glad to see that your jeep made it out on it's first trail run, were you out in the Murphy area on that run? I also like the simple, clean and easy approach that you have been using.
Anyways, we should get all go out and grab a drink sometime soon.

Thanks fellars...
Look for some updates in a couple of weeks. Going to work on the shackle angle and probably get some temporary wiring done. With any luck I'll also get that clutch problem figured out.
