My 98 Sport
I was just looking at all of the cool builds and thought it might be time to start my own.
PS: sorry for the lack of pictures, currently at college and I'm just using the pictures on my computer and phone.
This is how I bought it, (except the tires) with a 3" block lift, flares, bumper and a stereo.
Then I installed an RE 4.5" with 5.5" shackles and 1" coil spacers, along with tom woods driveshafts front/rear and an SYE.

Next I put limited slip in the rear, an electric locker in the front, 4.56 gears, diff covers and shafts for both axles.
Then I got my hands on some IPF headlights with PIAA bulbs, plus a 130w alternator.
So visually it didn't change much, but it looked like this.
After that I decided to put some armor on it, so I bought these.
Installed
Then I decided to go with a warrior roof rack with hi-lift, spare etc.
And of course, I had to re-create the first shot.
Anyways, I bought some hood vents from a guy off CF for a very good price. Hopefully I will get them installed over Thanksgiving break.

Very nice looking jeep!
What brand of slide rails are those and what do you think of your Bushwackers, I'm at a toss up to get those or not, or get rusty fenders.

Thanks. I bought lebaron's and they are at my house now. I think my Dad might have sent me a picture of them as I have not even seen them yet, so if I get it I will be sure to post it later. As for the locker I went with an eaton electric. I would defiantly recommend it, no problems, easy install and it works great. It made me a firm believer in lockers and is by far my favorite upgrade.
Here's a little tech review, it's not the best but I couldn't really find much useful information out there about it. I just bought it from a local place. ROCKCRAWLER.com - Eaton ELocker Preview

Thanks. The rails are from rocky road outfitters, and they are they're supersliders. They're super strong and relatively easy to install. Again I would recommend them as they have not only saved me from rocks, but also from sliding into trees. Here's a link Cherokee Rockrails rock slider protection
As for the bushwackers, lots of people around my town don't like them because they want their tires sticking out a mile, or they want to sling some mud. I'm not really into that though, and I think that they look pretty nice. The only complaint I really have is if I slide into a tree or anything, it would not take much to rip them right off. I would not suggest them for extreme crawling, but I plan to keep them until they get ripped off or until I figure out how I'm going to do my next project.
Anyway hope that helps!

Nice lookin rig! The flares are great in that they keep the police off your back (at least in states that require that the tires be covered)... however, be careful with the bushwackers becasue they are known to be brittle, and crack very easily if they hit a tree or rock.

Well here is a picture of the hood vents I bought. I think I'm going to just powder coat them and hopefully install them this fall.

That's what I originally thought they looked like, just wanted to be sure. You're definately going to love that mod, nothing like having your XJ run significantly cooler.

Finally got some lap belts in today.
Box they came in from RJS
Belts
Drilling through insulation is always fun
Decided to use some spacers (not included in the kit)
I liked them better black
Lifting rings installed
Bottom view
Done from the back
Finished
Eventually they can be made in to 4 or 5 points, but lap belts are just fine for now.
