Oredered up an Ebay Header and a 62mm throttle body. Already have a high flow cat and muffler so hopefully this combo frees up a few ponies. Or at the very least, net me like 1-2mpg more

Installed the 62mm throttle body. Noticeably better throttle response at low RPM. Less throttle = better gas mileage hopefully, lol.

Should be picking up a 2001 Intake manifold for $50 today. Will install in a few weeks after I get the header in the mail. Cut off the tip of my right index finger in a motorcycle chain so I'm a bit handicapped at the moment.

I know all to well. Took of the tip of my thumb back some time ago, had it amputated about 1/4". Longest four months of my life since I basically could not use my left hand.

(I trust you know what I meant. )

What really is an insult to injury is the bill you get after the insurance pays. I sliced open my hand while I was working on my flatbed truck. Cost me $500.00
I hope you heal quickly. I can't wait to see if you throttle body makes a huge difference.

Got a 2001 intake manifold with injectors and the throttle body for $50. Hopefully I actually gain something from this since I'm about to install a header at the same time.

you will deffinatly gain! I found a thread some where on another forum a while ago showing the difference between the early 90s log manifolds and the 00-01 manifolds and its performance differences. ill see if I can find it again for u.

EDIT: here ya go, I though it was a pretty a good right up.

Installed the Ebay header and 2001 intake today. Idle sounds awesome now! like a deep growl. Just seems to take less gas to get up hills and such. mid-range feels A LOT better. and it revs up much, much quicker.

I'm still rolling on 33's and stock 3.55 gearing so it's no speed demon, but it still has plenty of passing power.
