on mine, I think im running around 3.5* of caster with no transfer case drop in order for me to run a 1-2* pinion angle. although this was on a Low Pinion D30. just swapped in a High Pinion D30 and im going to try and adjust for a little more caster.

New upper control arms came in. Nice and heavy build quality. The threads are a bit coarse IMO. Gonna adjust them to 15.6in and see how my pinion looks.

Core 4x4 on Ebay. Decent price $120 before shipping

Adjusted Uppers to 15.5in. Front drive-line vibe is much better but still noticeable. Probably going to set them close to 16in later this week.

Set my uppers to a hair over 15 3/4in. Angle is much better. Got rid of the nasty driveline vibration I was getting. Still have a slight hum at 70 but nothing like before.

Re-installed my Aussie locker in my C-8.25. To my Surprise The shop that I paid to have my gears professionally done had ground three of my teeth on my ring gear quite a bit to be able to fit the carrier pin in. I suspected I was going to have to do this as I have 4.88s but would not expect a professional shop to set them up like that.

Other than that the locker went in smoothly and I had new side thrust washers this time. Made a Huge difference IMO. Locker is silent on right turns. left turns I still get the typical ratchet noise but not nearly as bad as it was the first time I installed it.

I had a 3 1/2 day weekend last week and made a last minute decision to go to Moab. Had a blast! Everyone in my group had wranglers and they were all manual transmissions. 3 yj's open diffs and 1 jk Rubicon a I believe with factory electric lockers. Since I had an automatic a locker and the lowest gearing I was the only one to try hell's gate. Made it up with zero wheel spin . Granted it was due the great spotter I had. His name was Dan Mick and he ran a trail tour/guide service. Apprently he was the first to go up it years ago.

One of my Offroader groups is trying to plan a trip to Moab. 1800 miles from Pittsburgh, PA. That is a LONG haul.

It's worth the trip if you have the time! MOAB is not overrated. It's incredible in person. I only had 1 full day of wheeling as I was on a time schedule. I liked the more technical trails a lot more than just cruising on rock faces.
