I bought the clear lenses off eBay separate from the header panel, I think I paid $35 for them. If you do your hood be sure to post some pics.

I was going to cut and fold it but I wanted to cut more of the fender out to clear my tires, I just should of not been lazy and patched it sooner. I seen your thread yours turned out nice, good job.

Just an update, I just got back from Las Vegas(just rubbing it in) and I ordered my RE LA kit before I left, it should be at work tomorrow waiting. I also ordered the JCR stage 3 sliders and JCR OTK steering should be here in about 5-10 business days. I will post pics of installs asap.

I am also looking to get some 63" Chevy leaf springs and a SYE with a DL some time this week.

I got the kit installed today. I cant believe how much of difference it makes, anyone considering a LA kit I strongly suggest it.

I have pics of the install, but I left the camera at work. I still need to install my SS brake lines and my SYE. Then I will get some pics on the RTI ramp.

Here is my half ass install/pic post.

RE long arm upgrade
Pro Comp track bar
Rugged Ridge SYE
04 TJ front drive line cut down
ES 9000 Pro Comp shocks with stem conversion
RE SS brake lines

Here is what I started with. JK UCAs cut down and re welded and Dodge UCAs for my lower CAs with 7.5 RE coils.

I took off the steering, control arms, and shocks and held the axle up with a tranny jack and a pole jack.

Some of the tools I used.

Then I cut the old CA mounts off with a sawzall, and used a grinder to try and smooth it out. (I cut my finger here pretty good here so I did not totally finish grinding it all off I will later)

I used another pole jack to hold the tranny and T case up and took off the old cross member, and then I mocked the RE skid and tranny mount up in place.

Then I placed the CA mounts up and marked them to drill all the holes. There are five on each pinch weld and five just on the inside of each uni frame.

Then snugged all the bolts.

Next I installed the CAs.

A couple more holes drilled in the uniframe.

All tightened up all of the bolts and tied up the loose ends and put it all back together. (damn there are a lot of holes to drill)

Some shots of the kit installed.

The track bar installed.

I still need to get some longer brake lines before I test it on the ramp, they should be here next week.

Then I installed my SYE and DL today.
I used a Rugged Ridge SYE and a 04 TJ front drive line and got it cut down for $80 I am pretty happy with how well it turned out, man I should have done this a while ago.

Its a Spicer DL its pretty nice for $80 dollars, I can thank my old Mgr for leaving it when he moved.

I did not have a bad vibration before it was barely noticeable but now I have none at all.

Today I ordered longer SS brake lines, spare tire and wheel to match mine, and I already have OTK JCR steering and sliders on order.

Yeah I had to pay $5 dollars extra to them make the JCR sliders compatible with the RE kit.

nice. although your axle shock mounts are on wrong. the bolt should be perpendicular to the axle for proper performance.
