Well it does not get as hot as fast and it cools down a lot faster. It still climbs to about 220-230ish while not moving but almost as soon as I start moving the temp goes down quick.

Thanks, well just checked cause its been a while I used 220 grit to start then went to a 400 wet or dry sandpaper.
I used a electric sander with the 220 then did the rest by hand with the 400 till it was nice and smooth. I used my hose and a bucket of water to wet it down.
My clear coat was flaking off pretty bad, that is why I used the 220 grit, so really just took all the clear off for the most part..
Here on the drivers side is after the 400 grit and the passenger is with the 220.

Well I went with some different D rings to save a little cash. Here is a bad cell phone picture I will get better ones today.
I reinforced the cross member with some 3/16" steel plate I will take it down the sides of the frame rails. I also will be adding a receiver to the front.
Its far from done I still need to reinforce the frame and cut some of the cross member out but here it is so far.
