i thought about the arb didnt realy like the bar and its so expencive! me and dad are just going to figure out how the mounting system works on it and build are own similar but with a difrent bar, and d ring mounts.

I find the ARB bumper to be very bulky. A guy in my club runs it and it added a ton of unnecessary weight and it doesn't open up approach angles that much. Keep it nice and tight to the body.

my ARB isnt that heavy. especially compared to other homemade bumpers ive seen. It does stick out a little further though. But the reason I bought it was because this is my DD. I didnt have rocks and approach in mind. I had deer. There are a ton here, the ARB is meant for kangaroos. Once hit, the bumper could fold but it saves the truck. Another reason I bought it was because I found it used for $400. I would never pay the $1000-1200 for it shipped.

no fast food is hitting a roo at 65mph because you wont be going anywhere fast and why not have a snack why your waiting for the tow truck or your mate. i have managed to hit a few in my time.

i put in a switch for the auxiliary fan so i can run it manually. i put in a stock switch instead of some other toggle. didn't take many pics but its there.
