Teaser Pics
Haven't had a lot of time to snap any photos this is all I have so far, I'll try to get more tomorrow. I'll be wrapping up the driver side rocker tomorrow and starting on the passenger. The idea is to do boat sides but they probally won't be skinned for a while. I had to take what was left of the rear doors off to get all of the rockers cut out. The rect. tube is 2x6x3/16, I probally could have gone with .125 wall but too late. The rect. tube will be plug welded to the top of the old rockers (1" holes) and there will be four braces that angle down to the plated unibody. The cage will tie into parts of the rockers also. I've got quite a bit of work to do.

I've been planning this for a little over a year now. No, I did not go fenderless I just had to take them off to cut out the whole rocker. Cherokees look hideous w/o some sort of front fender and this will not be some sort of redneck chop. It's going to be finished off very nice and SAFE. I also kept more of my rear doors than you, I moved the smallest window to the front of the door but got rid of the main window. It will basically look like my photochop picture on the first page. Much more to come.

Got the driver's side tacked in place yesterday. Worked on this pile from the time I got home from work till the time I went to bed and I was so tired I took today away from the Jeep. These should show you a little more of where I'm at.

Wanted to get an idea of what it's going to look like with the rear window on and tailgate.

That's crazy. It's gonna look pretty bad*ss when it's done. I wish I had the skill and tools to do that kinda work.

Haven't worked on this thing in a few months, I'll be dusting off the snow and pulling it into the garage within the next week or so. I'm getting the bug back after a long break so progress will be made, hoping to have it done by the end of May.
