I plan on mounting a Kidde double-strap bracket to the plastic interior panel there, on the upper flat-angled area above the storage hole. To do this I will put a metal plate behind the plastic panel, and bolt or rivet the mount bracket to that. The plastic will be sandwiched in-between.

This location should keep the fire ext. in a solid, safe mount up and out of the way, allowing for better storage space and greater ease of access in case of emergency.
the off can needs a better mount that's the one u actually use hmmm. why haven't I thought about mounting a off can that's genius

Did the upgraded air intake make much of a difference? I've been eye balling a few here lately. Nice looking Jeep man.

Yes I think the intake helped. Not a ton though As you need a better exhaust and TB to really make a big difference. I would not have bought it if I hadn't gotten it for a steal. I like it now though. Lol.

Thanks.

Between a cold air intake, cat back exhaust, tuner, and the (in my case) 784 injector swap, you should notice a very big difference in power and throttle response if that 4.0L

Correct. But I do not have a tuner or a greater than stock exhaust. I do have 784 injectors though and they make a difference too.
The exhaust is what let's everything you modded to let in, flow out.

Had to pull out another F250 the other day...this one my Uncle's, I don't think I posted it anywhere yet, so I will try and get pics up in a bit. He got stuck in the field...lol.

I should add that it was very greasy there, and with the plow out front we found him 5 inches deep in the corn field. Got him out after a bit of maneuvering. Note the first pic is not a "before" pic, that was after.

I trust that much poking fun is involved with this and will be for years to come, eh? You need to get a vid one of these times!

Yes, I will never let my uncle forget it, and I told him straight up I better not catch any more **** from him about my Jeep. He's always going on about a "kangaroo catcher" or something...I think he means my brushguard. And he likes to laugh and gripe about any mud on it....NEVER AGAIN!

First thing he says when he called is: "Does that Jeep of yours have a winch?"

"Nope...." lol "I don't need one..."

Only have a few days of winter break left so we are gonna go over the jeep again before I go all the freakin way to iowa again. Plans are to check, grease, oil, remove donut spare and check, find cheap steel or alum wheel, mount old Bfg at tire and replace donut spare with it. Also want to check KC lights (soon to to be for sale I hope) and look at removing spacers to replace with coils in the near future. I have no money but "need" a track bar, coils, and shocks. Need to fix rear wiper washer, driver floorboard, and new toolbag storage. Rear hatch struts would be sweet, along with hood strut mod, and hoodpins.... But I'm not sure that'll happen.

Did some stuff today...nothing special really, just a PM and oil change, and some minor projects.

Finished wiring in my accessory strip. Got some new connectors that actually fit the screw ports. Now its a little cleaner looking and all set.

Also scuffed, cleaned, siliconed up the holes, and painted my rear doorsteps with bedliner. This is in preparation for some new step-plates I will be sticking on. I wanted to get it all cleaned up and ready to go in advance.

Pics as soon as I can get them off my phone....
