What do you mean by substantial Mike? Its seems solid enough for a smittybilt product. I like it so far, and cannot wait to use it this summer. This one is 8.2ft x 6.5ft

Cool awning! I want one but it's pretty far down the list, like after fixing the transmission and HVAC. Looks great!

Just curious how you think it'll hold up?? It looks great and should come in handy when out on the trails. Did some reading and it got great reviews.

Im a little worried about the aluminum poles, but I work in a fab shop and we build heavy **** outta steel every day. So they are probably fine. Just don't roundhouse kick them out from underneath and everything will be ok.

The poles should be fine, but if not you have the means to make whatever you need. One of these might be in my future. Hopefully I'll get my sliders and steering upgrade completed Thursday. These are the last 2 things on my to do list unless something breaks. Might come in handy when I have the kayaks out when the weather warms up.

Jeep Project List
-HEADLINER!!! (in progress, nearly done, just stalling...idk why)
-Led interior swap (ordered parts, waiting for arrival and headliner install)
-relocate shovel/mount
-driver door hinges
-replace rockers with 2x6 steel (becoming higher priority rapidly)
-restore 4 old jerry cans for fuel.
-fab crossbar for mounting 5point harness (Have material at work, just need to measure and mockup)
-steering linkage upgrade (cavfab4x4 or bleesoffroad)
-TRE replacements?
-repaint roof and possibly rack
-metalcloak lower control arms and fix axle location
-then I can mount my oem front skid
-power inverter
-shackle relocators
-rear brakes
-gears
-bumper(s)

And it goes on and on, off into the future...

For now I am sitting decent for moderate wheeling and better road handling. I want to travel, camp, explore, and do so at will while hitting the highway and not worry about dying.

So this is your XJ list, what do you have in store for your trailer?

That will be in the trailer thread lol. But summarizing, it needs: -rack built -spare mount built -shocks? -tarp to cover rack

Yeah, my list pertains to the trailer. It is going to be priority #1 as soon as I finish the work we are doing on the house.

Got my OneWayLight.com LED interior and dash kit in the mail yesterday. Badass little kit. Its all labeled and bagged. I also have a little surprise instore along with that. Cant wait to rip my dash out lol.

BTW, Jason is his name (fantastic guy) and he is having a hell of a sale currently, so check them out on their site. And also enter JEEPOLOGY for another % off.

Swapped in the OneWayLight.com LED bulbs today. Dome light, map lights, courtesy lights, transfer case and transmission lights, climate control bezel lights, and the factory switches. Several of mine were burnt out and now they are working. Not only are they a more vibrant green, but they are working with the dimming function. Pretty sweet. I was worried they wouldn't. All plug and play. All I have left is the gauges.
