I drink water too. Should I stop doing that?

California has made huge strides in reducing air pollution. Most of the water used out of the Colorado goes to the farmers in coahella valley and some of that end up on your plate in the form of food. Cant believe you would do that, eat food grown from Colorado river water. And to think you drove around the Grand Canyon adding your pollution right on top of the already ruined air. Stay home and only wheat and beef and Ill stay home and only eat sea food and then I can blame you for the methane from the beef. Jerk.

Think about it. If you want things to change start talking global population, not your hazy vacation pictures. Slowing down population growth is the most effective way to deal environmental stress. Doesn't matter where you live, you pollute your environment close by and far away.

Or every single person in California could move just east of your place, then we wouldnt be jerks right? Where do you want me to put Disneyland? Did you want all the illegal aliens in one area or spread out. Saves money if we send all the welfare vouchers to one place. Just a suggestion.

Oh and how do you manage to not pullute with your cars? Do you bag your exhaust or does it head east and get absorbed into the trees and soils and waters of the Mississippi valeey and wind up in the gulf?
This is uncalled for (except the first sentence).

Might want to introduce yourself and get to know us folks before blowing up on a simple comment.

Today we made the drive from Arches area to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. We weren't in a hurry and we ended up getting to the park towards nightfall. So we quick set up camp and made dinner for the night. So far we really like the park. The temperature is a little more cool then the Moab area so it was a nice change. More like home.

After a comfortable night sleep we decided to take it easy today. We decided to drive around and check out the short hikes and overlooks. The temperature and weather ended up being perfect all day long! The views into the canyon and down to the river were breathtaking. Just looking at the photos I took I can tell that they don't do it any justice. Another great thing about the park and today was that there isn't many people in the park. The drive down to the bottom of the canyon was very steep and curvy! Brakes definitely got a work out!

Oh, my bad. Rookie move. I took a penalty drink.

Okay good so you were just razzing some CA buddies. So no real haters or state feuds,
Everybody gets along for the most part right?

Okay so other than our two senators, the bay area, and Hollywood activists we are cool right? Just the Irish that we have a real issue with right? Got it.

What the hell are you going off on now?
Please, if you have an issue with me for some odd reason, just leave it out of the thread and Personal Message (PM) me.
Don't know what I did to you, but great second post.

Im not going off on anything JakeWI. You read my second post under the wrong tone. It was the opposite of my first post. I admitted I jumped the gun and pointed out wshere I was wrong and why you were innocent. I then joined in on some California trash talk and specifically called out the entities that support banning public access to public lands I E no offroading on BLM land. And I threw in a tribute to blazing Saddles with the Irish comment.

Cheers

Today Angela and I made the drive from Black Canyon National Park to Rocky Mountain National Park. We first made our way to the West Entrance of the park to find that the main drive through the park (Trail Ridge Road) was still closed for snow removal. We knew it was a risk because of how early it was, but we figured what the hell. There was still 20 ft of snow covering most of the road in the higher elevations. Since that entrance was closed we got the take the 145 MILE over to the West Entrance of the park. Glad we did because the scenery was great and we ended up taking some back roads there as well. We drove through Central City and Blackhawk which are small, cool gambler towns. They both remind me of Deadwood, South Dakota.

We finally got to our campsite which was site 184 in loop B in Moraine Campground. The drive in was great. More elk then I will probably ever see again. We set up camp and made some dinner.

I have to hand that to you, I did really enjoy Colorado for the most part. One thing though, I just got a toll bill in the mail for $7.25 for three tolls

Haha, other than that, great state!
