so i was at gander mtn yesterday and found my next gun purchase.
it is the Double Defense 12 ga. side by side by stoeger! nicknamed the "coach gun" going back to the wild west when side by sides where popular for stage coach self defense.
this gun is just pure badass.
i probably wouldnt get it with the scope though.

Well, right now all I have is the .22.
Once I get a job and some money saved up thatll change though.
My dad has a few rifles I want to talk him into letting me buy off of him.
These include:
Enfield No5 Mk1, SKS, nazi marked p38.
The No5:

And the best pic I have of my .22 Romanian trainer, Which I need more ammo for... (Model 1969, made in 1982)

I question the relevance of a scope on a gun that sprays and is meant for short distances. Seems like there just after the cash.

exactly. especially when its primarily for self defense (close contact). i mean really, its a double barrel and if you point it in the right direction its going to be mean.

Well I know this might not be the right place to ask, but since we're talking weapons here, I'm thinking of picking up a Mossburg M590A1 and was wondering if anyone has any experience with one and/or opinions of it.
