coolant scare lol

I just got a big scare after my wife driving the jeep I just rebuilt the engine on

She was at the store and someone said that her engine was pooring tons of coolant out onto the pavement so my wife calls frantic and I told her to watch the guages and get home asap (just a few miles).

She got home and I looked under the hood for loose hoses and what nots and couldn't find anything but a little puddle of coolant by the e-fan.

I checked the oil and it was good....then just happened to notice that the overflow hose got caught in the mechanical fan and ripped it to shreds!

WOW, I feel so relieved

Haha that's good that it turned out to be something simple. Definitely would have scared the crap out of me too

Yeah, my head felt like it was gonna pop off for a few seconds because I just rebuilt the fricking thing last weekend! The first thought that came to mind was either a blown head gasket from a mistake I made or a hose came off.

BTW, I just went by the place where her "huge puddle" was supposed to be from it pooring out and I wouldn't even call it a dang puddle!
