I hadn't had her out to get good pics yet but have a few back yard ones.

Jeep "Dragoneer"
JPFreek Adventure Magazine Freek Feature - Fall 2016
=============================
Hello! Well you met her on the last COTM - She is a 98 Jeep Cherokee rockin a full airbrush custom paint job.
The Dragoneer has been out of commission since January getting all sorts of upgrades - weather permitting.

Now she is rockin some more bigger and better mods and more being added daily!

She is my back yard budget build, yes even the paint job i did in the back yard under a canopy.
==============================
Mods include: (new or swapped out mods in bold - red has been removed)
  • 4.5 Rough Country lift Completed - 6.5 RC Long Arm Kit, Quick disconnect uplinks.
  • Completed -Axles - Ford 8.8 31 spine LSD Rear and Dana 30 Front - 4:88 gears. OH AND DISC BRAKES!
  • 33x12.5x15 Kumho tires Completed -35x12.50x15 Master craft on ION Alloy wheels
  • Home made galvanized steel rock sliders (Not pictured in some pics as we had to remove them to install long arm kit- change the cross member).
  • Home made winch plate - This weekend it is being swapped out for a Tuff Stuff Full Winch bumper. Waiting to get Durango Steering box.
  • Front &rear bumpers made from square steel tubing. This weekend Front will be swapped for above bumper (Waiting to get Durango Steering box). Rear is a new angle style home made bumper.
  • SmittyBuilt 9000 lb water proof winch.
  • Stainless hood vents
  • Home made stainless grill - Completed -swapped out for silver Jeep grill.
  • Light bar w/ KC Daylighters
  • Roof rack - This weekend swapping roof rack for a new one (mine was about 9 years old and falling apart).
  • This weekend Hi- lift Jack, Shovels, Jerry Cans etc will be added (already have them)
  • Racing seats w/ homemade brackets - Currently being swapped out for full leather front and rear seating (about 1/2 done now)
  • Interior panels are all currenlty being swapped out for a nice darker gray paneling Adding MOLLE panels. About 1/2 done. Hope to be done by this weekend.
  • Aluminum racing radiator
  • Snorkel
  • K&N filter
  • Removable doors
  • Push button start
  • Durango Steering Box mod (98 Durango v8/4x4 )being done tomorrow night weather permitting
  • Completed -Removed ABS brake system
  • Completed -New Exhaust (actually have a cat again because I need 02 sensors- bummer)
  • Oh yeah - Completed -big bulky double blade windshield wipers.
And quite a few battlescars from rock crawling & mudding in Missouri.
============================
Thank you for checking out the Dragoneer!

I got the 6.5 Long arm kit with 35x12.50x15 tires on it, upgraded axles (Ford 8.8 rear, Dana 30 front with 4:88 gears), etc. Removed the ABS brakes but had issues with changing the connector types and to get flaring tool and re-do the connectors.
I just broke the Steering box bolts last night though so tomorrow night is a Durango Steering box mod. (I have to drive about 2 hour round trip tonight after work to pick it up).

I have new bumpers and roof rack, but they probably wont be added until this weekend. Also putting full leather interior into it and replacing all interior panels with better ones. still not putting a head liner or carpet in it cause I like to take her swimming and mudding and those just do not wash well.

Thanks to hubby who got drug into helping me do all this...... and has been a good sport about it all.

I'm cutting off stock control arm mounts and hubby taking off pitman arm. (definitely a back yard build!)
Moved pictures up to main entry.
