i still dont understand how your tires are that muddy but your xj isnt muddy at all?

Stock rims - all mud gets thrown in the wheel wells. If I had off-set rims it would be covered.

it was only about knee high, in the middle of a field. once i started crossing I realized the fool I got it from kept the drain plugs out.  so once the cab started to fill with water the lil tj got a whole lot heavier and the tires started digging into the mudd! got a little water in the tranny and i think the cold water on hat engine may have contributed to my recent engine rebuild. now I understand that that is my daily driver and my xj is my trail rig. (my gf made that abundantly clear!)
