c4x4 Sliders?
Jason what are your thoughts on the c4x4 sliders that angle up to better protect the rockers? It seems that you have come in contact with these so I would like an opinion if you have one. Worth it? Good Product? If you would recommend something else in the similar price range let me know.

Hey Kyle, I got your email about this, just hadn't had a chance to respond yet. The C4x4 double-tube rockers are nice, and up until we started carrying AJ they were our #1 selling rocker guard. There's one customer review up on our site at JeepinOutfitters and there's a product review on Jeepin.com at Jeepin.com » Custom4×4Fabrication’s doube-tube XJ rocker guards
Personally I like AJ's SuperRails better, but they're not a rocker-hugging design like C4x4's double-tube rockers so it's not really an apples to apples comparison. If you want something tight and high clearance, and don't care about being able to use the rocker guards as a step, then I think C4x4's double-tubes are a good choice.

Curious if you know of AJ ever making a slider that molds to the panel similar to c4x4?

I'm sure that if that's the style you wanted, AJ could build it for you. For something like that though you'd probably need to contact him direct.

I hate to say it, but the answer would be no. It's not that I don't want your business, I most certainly do. It's just a matter of respect towards C4x4 and their product that I won't build them similar.
We were one of the first companies to build the outer rails flat, mainly because customers wanted something that would work as a step and offer more protection, pivot point against obstacles... So it just got to be a point of respect and brand recognition. We both make rockrails but to suit different needs, hope that makes sense.

Thanks for the clarification, a buddy mentioned that awhile ago but I figured I would ask. Either way when the time comes you will have my business.

AJ's rails are some beefy S.O.B's. LOL
