Jason, I like the Rubicon Express 3.5" XJ SuperRide w/leafs you have on the site. I just have a question though. I have my jeep lifted to 2" and got new shocks with this lift (ProComp ES3000). Would I have to buy new, longer shocks right away once I put the new bigger lift on?
Thanks! |

you don't have to replace them right away. they will fit for normal driving but may be a little short for off road. if you plan to wheel then it would be wise to get some longer shocks. i had old man emu 2" shocks on my 4" lift for a while before i could upgrade. I could not wheel it though.

Short term you'll probably be OK, and you could even wheel it if you wanted to, you just won't have any more wheel travel than you have right now, and you'll probably top out the shocks quite a bit (which can damage them, so I wouldn't recommend wheeling it with the current shocks).
Something to keep in mind though, is that we discount the shocks if you purchase them with the lift, so if you can afford it you'll save money by ordering the shocks with the lift, vs buying them separately later on. For example, the RE TwinTubes are $159 if you order them with the lift. Separately they run $199 for a set though. The MonoTubes are $244 with the lift, vs $319 separately.
