Well the Project List for the Sears Trailer is coming a little more clear as I sense what I want to do with it and the Jeep.

So....I need to:

-install ammo can toolboxes underneath
-build a cargo rack/cage
-get tarp for said cage
-design and build spare tire mount
-shocks?
-get fuel cans restored and usable

Started on the trailer rack today. Looks like a lego set right now, but once I start cutting and welding, itll get better. Need to get 12 feet of 2" angle iron...

Youre not afraid of it being top heavy?

Nope. The rack will get a little shorter and it's two thin walled pieces of pallet racking and thin walled rectangular tube. Should be roughly 34" tall and 34" wide at the top. Bottom will be 46" wide. The rack will be removable as well.

No its not too bad. The orange is small pallet racking arms with ends cut off, and the yellow is full size but pallet racking is pretty thin and bent to be strong. I want to be able to get this in and out by myself. I think the heavy part will be the 2" angle

Last night I cut the ends off the yellow pieces and then gave it a little more thought and decided that I'm not sure I want to use them. They were free, but I think the shape doesn't blend with the rest of the 1948 theme and design. Probably going to revert to 2x3" rectangular tube
