Well, nothing done since last update, Ive been slacking off and having fun. BUT the Iowa Jeep Show is nearly upon us, and I need the trailer to debut there. So once I get this little family trip over, Ill hammer out this baby. I need to fix two welds, hit the remainder with POR15, and polish up and coat the axle/hubs/leaves, and Monstaliner it all! Accessories like jerry cans will have to wait.

Only update is that I did finally get another qt of POR-15 in the mail.

Ok, welds are fixed, (not pretty, but they match the originals so its all good lol.) Axle has been cleaned up and coated with 2 coats of POR-15 and a decent coat of Topcoat by POR-15. Hubs are currently black spraypaint, but Im gonna throw a coat or two of Monstaliner on them to match the tub I think. Maybe just the outsides? And the tub is ready for Monstaliner, which also needs to go on the wheels. Maybe color matched tub and wheels, with black hubs and lugnuts? IDK, I guess Ill decide on Thursday when I do the Monstalining.

Friday Ill be off as well to help get the show setup and then the weekend is here and its IOWA JEEP SHOW TIME!!!!

Those matching "axle holders" will be mounted underneath the tub as toolboxes. And will be monstalined as well.

I've finally tracked down all the hardware I needed to replace and did so with original type stuff. So 5/16th slotted round-head machine screws...I hate you. What was popular in 1948 isn't nowadays.
