Your budget is everything, if you let us know that we can narrow it down for you.

Also take a look at "every xj lift" located in the cherokee articles section.

Really just depends on your budget. Full leaf packs and 3" coils is the best way to go, but on a budget, S-10 leafs and short shackle in the rear and V8 ZJ coils and coil spacers in the front will yield 3-4".

Just remember he wants 3"..RE 3.5 will net you typically over 4" of lift..Mine came in at 4.25"...Rough Country now has a 3" lift that comes with coil springs, leaf springs, new lower control arms and shocks... All you would need after that is some extended rear brake lines, relocate the track bar and it would be pretty much complete. Then you would need to look at either a transfer case drop or SYE.

I would highly suggest not relocating the track bar and just getting a adjustable bar Rough make a OK one really cheap or Rubicon and Trek makes a bar that would be very hard to hurt. I would stay away from blocks, add a leafs are OK full leaf packs are best. you will also want look for a kit that comes with at least new lower control arms the stock arms are stamped and are known to fold after lifted. as for the SYE and transfer case drop the SYE would be the right way, but the drop will get you by.

IMO the reason I went with RE is because of their quality and most of all their "completeness". There arent many other kits out there that are more complete then RE with solid components.
