one of my buddys who has a 97 xj has just the rubicon express 3" lift and he was running the 31x10.50/15 now he is running 33x10.50/15 and he didnt need to trim at all... idk how he managed to do that but it looks good. lol

If he ever plans on having any more than a millimeter of uptravel he's gonna be trimming.

Dunno how that is possible without trimming. I have 32's with 4.5" lift and FIVE inches of bumpstops up front just so I didn't have to trim and I still rub a little. Tell ur bud to take it off road and watch the flares pop off.

haha i know right i told him he'll have to trim the fenders but he doesnt think so yet, we are going up to left hand canyon in a few weeks so that will be the test lol.

As I had said earlier, one of my buddies runs a 3" with 33x12.5 with no trimming. But hey, his flares constantly fall off.

i just cut my front and i figured id run a marker around the flare the take the flare off and cut i can see like a half inch of the window washer fluid bottle did i cut to much off and im talkin about for off roadin with 33s by 12.5 ?

Too little = rub. Too much = nonexistent. Unbolt the fender and just run stupidly large, pants-compensating tires, skip the whole trimming part.

Ya I just got 31x10.5 and only when I turn in like parking spots did it rub a little but nothing that could not be fixed
