Not a big deal unless you start mixing and matching on the same axle.

Keep the axles "paired" (same shock on each end,) and you should be fine. Ideally, you'll also want to have all four shocks the same age - but if you don't mix old and new on the same axle, you should still be fine.

Yea you will be fine. OME and bilsteins ride comparably well so i doubt you will even notice.

the OME shocks are designed for 2-2.5" lift. they have the LT shocks which are long travel and works with 4". if you go with a 3" then I would suggest bumpstopping and running the slightly longer long travel 4" shock than the too short 2.5" shock. i had OME comfort shocks on my 3" and had to get full traction bar pin eliminators to extend the shocks cuz they were too short. If you want the shorter shocks for the rear then check out www.detoursusa.com and they have shock extenders that are pretty neat and cheap too.

it'll work better than the too short 2.5" shock. You'll have to bumpstop so you don't overcompress the shock cuz it will be just a bit longer than needed.

The 2.5" shock is 22" extended and the 4" shock is 24.5", if i remember correctly. If you think the 24.5" is too long then just get the shorter 2.5" shocks and run these 1.5" relocators:
http://www.detoursusa.com/xjstm.php

Best thing to do is measure and find out what size you need. Flex out your suspension on a hill and then measure the distance from shock mount to shock mount.
