Two options:

1: drill holes around the center metal sleeve and punch that sleeve out. Then use a flat head screwdriver and hammer to beat the snot out of the metal casing around the bushing. Once you get it beat up enough, it should start to come out.

2:Use a ball joint press. First press out the middle sleeve. We do this first to release any pressure pushing outwards on the outer metal casing. Then find a socket that's wide enough to cover most of the bushing and use that with the ball joints or c-press to press it out.

Most people just go nuts with the flathead and hammer. It's a good stress reliever.

It's difficult to do this with the axle still under the jeep but do-able. If you disconnect the steering, sway bar, shocks, and upper arms, you can tilt the axle forward as far as it goes and work that way. To get a new one in, use the c-press or ball joint press. If you don't have one, get one! They are awesome tools to use all over the jeep. Freezing the bushings will help them go in easier too. It shrinks them a little.

You can try using a hammer. If you have a small c-clamp or press, use that. maybe a flat piece of wood or block over it while you pound the snot out of it would work. Give it a try.
